Compress PDF questions
How do I reduce the size of a PDF?
Open Compress PDF, select your file, choose a compression level, and click Compress PDF. The smaller file downloads and the page shows the size before and after.
Which compression level should I choose?
Recommended keeps good quality and text that can still be selected. Extreme gives the smallest file by turning each page into an image, so text can no longer be selected. Less compression keeps the highest quality.
Why did my PDF not get much smaller?
PDFs that are mostly text are already small. Compression helps most with scanned documents and PDFs full of photos.
